Pamber Parish Council Neighbourhood Plan

Since the two consultation days in 2018, the Pamber Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group has been reviewing the information gathered. From this, they have distilled what they believe is how you, the residents of the Parish, would like to see the Plan move forward towards 2032. Unfortunately, due to the Covid 19 pandemic in early 2020 and through to 2021, progress slowed and the lifting of the lock down requirements did not result in the immediate resumption of meetings and actions. Some members of the Steering Group decided not to continue and that left just seven members.

Progress finally picked up in 2024, but the removal of the grant scheme by the new Government meant the Parish Council would have to pick up any costs to finish the plan, subject to any other fund raising or grants being available. Not to be deterred, the Steering Group produced a draft plan, which can be viewed via the link below, which was recently submitted to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council planners for their comments. A meeting has subsequently taken place with a senior planning policy officer and an action plan has been put together to bring this to a conclusion prior to final consultation with the residents of Pamber.

The Steering Group minutes are accessible via the links below, as are the update reports to the Parish Council.
