| Christmas and New Year bin collection dates |
| Basingstoke residents might find it useful to know that the revised bin collection dates have now been added to the bin collection look up on our website. Residents can put their postcode into the search to find out when the crews will be collecting over the Christmas period.
Collections run as normal until Christmas Eve. Rubbish, recycling, and food waste then follows the Christmas schedule, returning to normal from Monday 18 January. If adverse weather causes changes, check our social media channels and website for updates. The crews will collect extra rubbish from beside grey bins on the first collection after Christmas only. Extra recycling will be collected if it is clean and dry. All food waste must be in liners inside the green caddy. Garden waste collections pause until Thursday 8 January, then resume on the usual day. |
