Vacancy for Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer

Pamber Parish Council is seeking a new Clerk/RFO.

The position is home based and part time (20 hours per week).

The clerk will be responsible for carrying out all the administrative and financial duties of the council and providing advice and support for councillors. The work is varied and will include such duties as preparation of agendas, minutes, planning, parish maintenance, budgets, audit and accounts. The clerk will be able to work alone and have good organisational and IT skills, as well as being a good communicator.

Previous parish experience is desirable but training can be arranged.  Salary will be paid based on national pay scales and according to experience.
