One of our Councillors has liaised at length with the Tadley branch of the Royal British Legion and with Rev Cathy Pynn from St Luke's, Pamber Heath. Whilst the lighting of the beacon is a national event, our Service will be remembering 31 WW1 Fallen from Tadley and 11 WW1 Fallen from Pamber. 42 crosses bearing the names of the Fallen have been allocated across the various Youth Groups from Tadley and Pamber which will be taking part.
After all the crosses have been laid, a member of the Royal British Legion will invite anyone who wishes to come forward and lay their own personal or family tribute. Should anyone wish to partake in this they are more than welcome to do so. Please contact the Clerk on 07920 787170 for any further information.
